YUME Book 2 Cover

I have been stressing about this book cover for a week. I think this is what I'm going with, but I really encourage you guys to nitpick the hell out of this. Remember, book covers are the first impression for a book. Would you buy this? Why or why not? Is there anything that should be fixed? Should I scrap it and try something new?
ANYTHING you want to say about it, say it!

So my thoughts based on feedback are: This isn't going to work. It suffers from the same problem as book 1, in that it isn't eye-catching enough. There is no viewer-character interaction, which helps in drawing potential readers in, it isn't bright and colorful enough, and it doesn't accurately portray what's inside. (Someone said they would expect the characters to be much older than high-school aged based on this.)
It's too flowery and mushy, and not edgey enough. I need bright colors, probably full-body characters, and more visual interest. I have some sketches that I'm working on.
